2024 Super Gold and 'Best of Belgium' for Lotenhulle Rouge at the World Cheese Awards!

What makes Lotenhulle Rouge so special?
The milk for our award-winning cheese comes from a short-chain livestock farm, featuring a mixed herd fed with locally produced ingredients from the Meetjesland region. This terroir – the rich soil and artisanal production – gives our cheeses their unique taste and character.

Having these qualities recognized by a jury of no fewer than 102 cheese experts is an incredible honor for us.

A victory with extra meaning
This victory feels even more special because last year, due to logistical setbacks, we were unable to participate. This only motivated us further to showcase our passion and craftsmanship this year. And with great success!

The title 'Best of Belgium', along with our other awards, is a fantastic recognition of the hard work of our entire team.

Global recognition
With 4,786 cheeses from 47 countries competing, this recognition is an incredible achievement and a testament to the quality and soul we put into our cheeses.
